That sport called baseball is really quiet right now as the new season will not be starting for a few months and the World Series was finished quite a while ago.
With that in mind, there are lots of articles that I have written all about this game. Right now, I am going to talk about five pitchers who I think are currently some of the best ones in the sport of baseball right now.
My five picks are as follows. If you feel differently than I do about them, then go ahead and let me know by writing down your thoughts.
Coming in at #5 on my list is Zack Greinke, who definitely came away with the greatest season last year as a pitcher. If he can do that again during the next season and the season after that, then he is going to move up on my list for sure. When all is said and done, Greinke is going to go far in this sport, especially seeing what a dangerous pitcher he continues to be.
In the #4 spot is Roy Halladay, known for always being a very reliable pitcher. In the future, Halladay will no doubt be inducted into the Hall of Fame.
Christ Carpenter holds the #3 place on this list as he always manages to be extraordinary. When he returned from almost two seasons of being away from baseball, it was like he had never been gone. I do believe that Carpenter just might be better than he has ever been previously.
The #2 spot goes to Johan Santana. It doesn’t matter that he has not received a Cy Young award since coming on board with the Mets; he consistently contributes to a very good season every year. This is why Santana is at the #2 spot.
And in the #1 spot is Tim Lincecum, who has literally dominated the sport of baseball for two years now. Having an ERA in the twos is outstanding and Lincecum is indeed the top pitcher at getting strikeouts.
In addition to pitchers, the writer also regularly contributes articles regarding modern floor lamp and mini pendant lights.

If you’re a fan of the online casino market then I’m guessing you’ve heard of Microgaming. In case you haven’t Microgaming are a software provider for online casinos and they’re one of the best in the business.
They are used by the biggest casinos and have been providing software since the 90’s. They also have very high standards and will consider many things before allowing an online casino to use their services.
Therefore you will have a very good chance indeed of getting a fair game at a Microgaming casino. There are however individual differences that exist between all Microgaming casinos, there are a couple that I like best.
Ladbrokes has to be my favourite; they are one of the world’s largest gambling brands. Their payment times are some of the quickest I have found, you will only need to wait six hours, and customer support is good too.
Something that’s worth pointing out about Ladbrokes is that they are always updating the site with brand new games. Lots of online casinos never update their sites and Ladbrokes soars past them in the quality stakes.
I also like 32Red, they were set up a few years ago by a guy who used to be a Ladbrokes director. If you were wondering where they got the name from, it is from the number 32 on a roulette wheel, and the number 32 is red.
Payout times wise, they are slightly slower here than at Ladbrokes, there is a 24 hour wait as opposed to 6. You can always rely on 32Red to pay you in time too; there are never any issues with them.
There are several other good Microgaming casinos but it wouldn’t be fair of me to list just a few of them so I’ve stuck with my two favourites. If you play at either of Ladbrokes are 32Red you will be in fair hands and that’s the first part of enjoying your online casino experience.
Take the time to find out more about 32Red by taking a look at through a 32Red Casino Review from a person with the experience of playing there. Learn which casinos are worth playing at and which ones aren’t.

This short piece is going to discuss Totesport and the numerous facilities that it offers. They are a big British gambling brand and their estate includes hundreds of betting shops, there are also facilities for online gambling too, including a casino.
Playtech is the software that Totesport use; this is one of the best in its field. This is a really good Playtech casino, but there are a lot that have really bad payout times and don’t treat players fair.
The normal waiting time for your winnings at a Playtech casino is 6 days, this is ridiculous. However Totesport are different as they pay players much quicker.
The only complaint I would have about the payments is that they don’t offer many different methods, you can only use credit or debit card. I personally prefer services such as Moneybookers or PayPal because I find it easier to keep track of my money.
The graphics are very good as with all Playtech casinos. The games are enjoyable to play, my favourites being the blackjack and the roulette both of which have multiple versions to play.
There are American, French and European versions of roulette available and there is one called Mini Roulette too. Also with blackjack, there is a game to suit everyone, with different rules and layouts.
The customer support is also brilliant. Personally I have spoken with them on a few occasions and have always got a good answer from a helpful and clear speaking person.
Normally online casinos will turn to foreign countries to source their customer support, meaning the customer’s experience is not always a good one. Also worth mentioning is if you play slots games there are lots of bonuses available for these which will enhance your game playing experience.
Overall I certainly recommend Totesport Casino, they are definitely one of the best. I would be lying if I said they were my favourite because that’s Bet365 but they are still very good and are certainly amongst the 10 best online casinos.
You should read another Totesport Casino Review to get all the information on them that you will need. Find out which casinos are worth playing at and which ones aren’t.

Activities with a high degree of complexity require introspection to raise them to a level where they can be considered “art.” This principle certainly applies to playing poker and even not playing poker. To play or not to play poker requires an intimate knowledge of oneself, more so than most people are willing to learn. Self-evaluation is the basis of introspection and this is very difficult to take on. We struggle against inward knowledge and find it much easier to obtain knowledge of events and circumstance outside ourselves. Accurate self-criticism of our characters is anathema. In poker, lacking introspection can make you play way more and way longer than you intend, but you don’t know how or when to stop.
You may have come to poker because you had no idea what to do with yourself in the first place. Persons without purpose regularly engage in pointless activity. If you just won’t take any introspection, but still want to deal with the problem, a possible way is to deliberately focus on the idea that poker is about winning and that nobody, including yourself, despite what may have been happening for the past year since you had taken up this accursed game, nobody likes to lose.
You should concentrate on the fact that you must decide whether to keep playing the game or leave. The decision will have an immediate impact on your profits from the game and you know you cannot afford to lose. Now it has become apparent to you that the only reason to remain in the game is the odds are with you to win. Think about your ultimate goal, not whether you are winning or losing at any given time. You may be on a hot streak or in a cold spell, but what is important is the overall net gain. If you reason it out and see that however great the game is going now, that at the end you will suffer a net loss, get out now.
If you wish to play safe and adopt a hit-and-run strategy, go ahead. If your goal is to win, though, you must play with clarity of mind, and know when to hold and when to fold.
Realize this, all cards are dealt to all players with random mathematical chance, having nothing to do with lady luck. Becoming a nervous wreck when you get bad cards or getting high on the good ones is nonsensical. However, self-fulfilling prophecies do have some validity as psychological phenomena. A really good game and a lot of luck impresses upon others that you are a good player. This builds up your confidence and allows you to play more aggressively, while your opponents are now feeling weaker, playing in a more cowardly manner, and even more disheartening to them, feeling unlucky.
The important thing is not to let the same happen to you - you will have to allow at least this much introspection and admit that you are afraid of chance and have a tendency to demonize it, but that it is only a quirk of your nature and should not control either your game or your life.

The game of Bingo originated from Italy where its name was “Beano”, and was played in country fairs. They used a caller to draw the discs from a cigar box. As the caller called out numbers, the players would be marking them on their cards using beans. They were to use the numbers to make a particular row or column and the first one to succeed would shout a loud “Beano” to effectively stop the game and be declared the winner.
Later the game was developed into the Bingo game we know of today by Edwin Lowe and Carl Leffler; and became so popular that it was played by over 6000 different bingo cards by 1930.
This game is now played all over including in the community halls and some church functions and now it has become more modern. Using a caller, the players will be around a table in a hall and the cards dished out to them. They would mark them with ink as the numbers are called out by the caller. It becomes a fierce competition since each player tries to be the one to finish first and shout “Bingo!”
With the advent of the internet, Bingo has become a game played all over the world and people do it in the comfort of their own homes.
The online players begin by joining one of the numerous online bingo sites either for free or for payment. After the registration the new member is expected to deposit some cash into own account.
The deposit made into the account makes it possible for the player to get extra credit given to him as bonuses and that is what the member needs to start playing Bingo.
Playing on the internet is more relaxed as the computer will call the numbers and also mark the cards for the player. You may be wondering how the shout of “Bingo!” is conducted on the internet. Well, the computer will help the player to shout his “Bingo!” as well; because the games have become totally automated.
The free sites may not make the member to deposit any money into their accounts but will need them to mark their own card and wait to shout “Bingo” with the computer mouse. There are halls that are categorized and players are put in separate halls with various numbers.

Learning to play baccarat, whether online or in a casino, could not be easier. It is probably one of the simplest games you could encounter in a casino or on the Internet. Play a few free-play hands at any online casino that offers the game and you will soon grasp the rules and how the betting works.
Unlike the more well-known casino card games, such as poker and blackjack, Baccarat is a game of pure chance and it is basically about guessing whether the value of the players hand will be greater than, less than or equal to the value of the banker’s hand. The hand with the highest value (with a maximum score of 9) is the winner.
Betting takes place before any cards have been seen. They place their bet on the “player”, the “banker” or on a “tie”. Any winnings are paid at even money if a player opts for “player” or “banker”, whereas the outside bet of both hands being a “tie” will pay handsome odds of 8-1.
Two cards are dealt to each player and to the banker and if either of the hands adds up to 6 or higher, the higher valued hand wins. If neither hand adds up to 6 or greater, another card is drawn and the highest number wins no matter what its value. Cards from 2 to 9 score their face value; aces score one and pictures and 10 score zero. The hand is a tie if both hands add up to the same value.
If either hand is dealt and the value adds up to greater than 9, the first digit of the total is dropped, i.e. 9 + 8 = 17, drop the 1, the hand is worth 7. If neither hand has a value greater than 5, then a third card is dealt to each hand and the highest value wins. If both values are the same, then it is a “tie”. Since the leading digit is dropped for values greater than 9, it is technically not possible to bust in baccarat.

A long standing controversy in major league baseball has been that surrounding Shoeless Joe Jackson and his alleged throwing of the World Series for the Chicago White Sox of’19. Jackson has long been gone from baseball and long deceased, but many have still pushed to carve out his place in Cooperstown. Does he belong?
Shoeless Joe has some very impressive stats over his- year career. He is known for playing with the White Sox, but played with a total of 3 other teams, having played with ith the Athletics, Naps, and Indians for half a season. He posted very good standard stats that should alone be hall of fame worthy.
Some of these numbers include a .356 career batting average, 785 RBIs, and 168 career triples. The power was low, but this came in an era where lower home run totals were more commonplace.
This may not scream out obvious hall of fame, however, the .356 batting average would easily clear those standards in today’s game. Here are some more impressive stats we can deduce by taking a closer look at his numbers.
Jackson had an OPS of .940, an on base percentage of .423, and struck out just once every 24 times at the plate. These numbers are very impressive in their own right, and make a stronger case for Shoeless Joe.
So the stats look good, but how about the scandal? Did Jackson blatantly lower his level of play, throwing the series for Chicago? A look at the stats would say no. Jackson batted .375 that World Series, with a record breaking 12 hits. Unlike many of his teammates, Jackson’s fielding percentage was a perfect 1.000.
Some have pointed out an abnormally high number of triples the Reds hit to left field (where Jackson played), but research shows this to be inaccurate, as the Reds hit no triples to left field that series. Contradicting his numbers is the fact that Jackson did accept a $5,000 check. It would seem that Jackson reluctantly accepted the money with his teammates, but most likely didn’t want to actually throw the series.
The Legend of Shoeless Joe Jackson. Let him in? It is your decision.

Almost on a daily basis, online casino promotion scams are popping up. A common one is where you are instructed to play roulette using a system that is effectively rubbish.
A website that has to be one of the worst ones is one called the wealth secret. Out of all the dodgy websites that there are, this one has to be the worst and is packed full of lies and ridiculous claims.
The owner claims that the system he’s giving you is actually an Internet loophole and that he’s been using it since 1999. He also says that during this time he’s amassed a thirteen million pound fortune.
This ridiculous claim is only the beginning of his lies; he also claims to be the owner of a number of yachts and even a McLaren F1, which is one of the most expensive cars in the world. My belief is that you would have to be really stupid to actually fall for this, but a huge amount of people actually believe this rubbish.
To give you a brief idea of how the scam works, you enter your name and email into a subscription form and then once you’ve done that you download the system for free. On a side note, once you surrendered your email you probably get spammed with more junk.
To follow the system all you have to do is play a progression when a dozen has not appeared for seven spins. This isn’t a loophole in the internet, in fact it is a very commonly used system. People want some sort of fool proof way of making money online and the owner has capitalised on this.
Then at the end of the system you’re given a link to 21Nova casino and this is the whole aim of the website and system, to promote 21Nova. I actually see 21Nova appearing on more fraudulent websites than any other casino.
The con is seen all over the internet, the wealth secret is just an example. Bear in mind that if you see a website offering you a roulette system free of charge that only can be used at a selection of casinos, it needs to be avoided.
You can find out how to distinguish scams such as The Wealth Secret by checking out the Online Roulette King were you will learn more in two minutes than you ever would from the wealth secret.
