Free Diary Of A Wimpy Kid Online

Posted by Candice Petersen on Jul 28, 2010 in books

“I’ll be famous one day, but for now I’m stuck in middle school with a bunch of morons” The story of the dairy of a wimpy kid is very intriguing. It tells you everything about the movie in a nutshell. This movie which is essentially made for kids is very appealing to the psyche to grownups as well. It makes you laugh and along with it teaches you a lot about the internal mind of an average pre teen.

The movie draws its inspiration from the hugely popular book “The diary of the wimpy kid” by Jeff Kinney. Having read the book I can safely say that the movie has retained all the exciting and comic parts of the book and the story line does drifts more that necessary. The characters are exactly like in the book and they all have been created the way they should have been.

The story revolves around Greg Heffley (excellently portrayed by Zachary Gordon); he is normal looking average school kid who is starting with middle school. Once he is in the class he makes a promise to himself that he will break his nerdy image and will become the most popular guy in his class, so that girls will start liking him. He lives with his family that consists of father, mother and a very insane elder brother who keeps him in check with his numerous pranks.

He also has a very close friend Rowley (another brilliant child actor Robert Capron). While Heffley likes the company of Rowley but he shies away from being seen in public with him. His reason is that Rowley is a kid who never grew up from the junior school. Though it is partly true but when it comes to Rowley, he is a kid who does not care much about the onlookers. He does things which appeal to him and always stays happy.

One fine day both of them decide to make a cartoon for the school paper but due to difference of opinion they separate and submit their own cartoons. And Rowley’s cartoon gets selected which leads to breaking of friendship between both of them. Although they miss each other’s company but the gap is too big to bridge with their fragile egos coming in between and eventually they become friends again.

The acting in the Diary of a Wimpy Kid is of the utmost quality as all the child actors do an amazing job of bringing a graphic novel alive on screen. Especially Zachary Gordon, he does a marvelous job of portraying the emotions and complex mind of Heffley. He emote the ideas in his head with precision hence as a result the viewers can laugh their heart out.

Taken as a whole this entire movie is an absolute delight. It entertains completely and after the run time is over, your mind keeps on asking for more. It is highly recommended for all the ages. Go out and watch a wimpy kid do this stuff!

Download Carlos Movie

Posted by Herms Logan on Jul 28, 2010 in books

Carlos, it’s the time for us to promote the director to the higher side for presenting a such a worth watching movie to the spectators and this movie could suppress the viewers of all the range but I can’t guarantee up to which extend that might be. The total run time of the movie including al the three parts comes around five and half hours. The central story focuses mainly on the Marxist revolution at the earlier times. Edgar Ramirez who excellently performed as the major Carlo’s role as he also performed a leading character in Che frames the main character of the movie.

Ramirez performance in the movie is quite notable one and he has the enough chance to brightly shine in America but he fails to attract the local spectators. But this film could give a chance to promote to great extend who shows marvelous performance as man who rejects the revolutionary thoughts and live his life with women, money and destructible weapons.

Carlos character is framed as a pathetic man with appreciable performance having individual vision and a dedicated protagonist who fights for his own vision. At the beginning of the movie he is introduced as Popular front for the Liberation of Palestine and lot of twists are present in the movie to raise the viewers thrill. In the next scene the hero, transform into a hired gun who never realizes it. He is practiced to many of the anti social activities against the nation and blindly supports to whom provide him enough money, pleasure and protection.

There are many scenes, which are out of continuity, and such imperfections are available in Assayas films. Enough appreciations cannot be scored in the movies, as the local audience may not get attracted towards the screenplay though the movie has more number of attractions than the Soderbergh’s Che. Many flaws to be notes are that the movie fails to have to rigid support in the story and not very impressive music and background score, since it went all the way wrong and there is not much attraction to the listeners.

The director’s inspiration on music provides no meaning in the songs and does not aid much in narrative. As the whole, Assayas and his team had tried to give an aggressive performance but his pain has not much reward.

Marmaduke Free Movie

Posted by Albert Newman on Jul 21, 2010 in books

Animals have been the central part of a number of films that have been made in Hollywood, some of which have had a totally new story line while many have been inspired from a TV series or a cartoon strip. There have been animated films as well which have now created a new market for themselves providing newer stories to the writers to think about. Some of these movies have failed at the box office while some have been highly successful.

Marmaduke is a very popular newspaper comic strip which is being published since the year 1954 and has the drawings by Brad Anderson. Based on the strip, Marmaduke the live action based movie was released on 4 June 2010. The movie has been written by Vince Di Meglio, Tim Rasmussen and Brad Anderson while Tom Dey has directed it. 20th Century Fox have distributed the film which has been produced by John Davis.

The movie is based on Marmaduke, the lovable Great Dane and his adventures and misadventures. As the family of the owner of Marmaduke, Phil Winslow moves into a new neighborhood in Orange County, Marmaduke gets to meet various breed of dogs one of whom has a crush on him(Mezie) and one of whom he has a crush on (Jesebel). He also meets a violent dog Bosco who tries to intimate him but he does not get intimated. Marmaduke has Carlos the family cat for his company as he faces the challenges of his new life and affects his owner personally and professionally with his antics.

The acting is also not up to the mark and it seems that the actors have done overacting at many places while the voice actors also did not help the movie. The script could have been shortened and the jokes could have been made more meaningful and funnier. There are some positives in terms of the treatment of animals like humans and showing that they are no different. At some place the dialogues also seem cute.

The acting in the movie is not up to the mark as the actors have done overacting at many places. There movie has some positives in terms of dialogues which seem cute at some places. The treatment of animals like humans is also a plus factor for the movie. The jokes could have been made more meaningful which could make people laugh and the script could have been shortened.

Marmaduke fails to create the same effect as the cartoon strip had and it might not be that successful. When it comes down to the realities of film making and the onscreen show, the movie fails miserably though the plot looks interesting. Marmaduke the movie looks more of a dog show with the element of humor almost missing and less of an entertainment movie.

The movie would not be liked by the masses though the dog lovers and children may like it. The probability of movie being successful at the box office is not high and the movie should be watched only if you want to take a chance and have nothing else to do.
